Sunrise over Ben Cruachan on the ferry over to Mull from Oban. Definitely one of the highlights of an immense (-ly tiring) trip!
Sad to be back, especially with no current plans to get back up to the highlands.
But I saw some excellent geology and had a great time helping the wee second years find their feet in the field!

Durness has one of the most beautiful beaches in the UK. It’s also very close to the excellent Smoo Cave, which I heartily recommend you visit if you’re ever up that way!
